2011-2012 WYHA Registration is now closed.  Thank YOU for joining and we wish you all a successful and enjoyable season!

NEW FOR 2011-2012:

WYHA, working to keep the intial Registration Fees low for ALL levels, has maintained the same fees from last season.  However, parents of Travel Players will see their introductory fees REDUCED by $200 per player as a way to balance costs throughout the season.

ALL PLAYERS:
Per the MN Hockey Participation policy a player can play where they live OR with the association of their school enrollment, should it differ from the residence.  For school enrollment-based registration however, parents MUST request a waiver from their home residence association BEFORE registering with the school enrollment-based program.

USA Hockey Registration:  ALL FAMILIES will register first with USA Hockey.  Online Registration will be a 2-part process and WYHA will be directing all registrants to USA Hockey's registration page to first complete and pay the USA/MN Hockey registration portion, then back to the WYHA site for completion. 

Players who have played this summer may have already been registered for the 2011-2012 season.  If you have already registered with USA Hockey, use the instructions below on how to proceed. 

All families must first register all players with USA Hockey.  In doing so you will get a confirmation number that you must use when registering with this site. The USA Hockey season goes from May 1 through April 30 of each year.

USA Hockey Online registration for the 2011-12 season will be available starting May 1, 2011

For USA Hockey online registration:

  1. Go to the USA Hockey Website.
  2. Choose member type Ice Player/Coach.
  3. You must be 18 years of age to process a registration. Check the box that acknowledges that YOU are 18 or older.
  4. Select the correct season:  2011-12.
  5. Follow the prompts...fill in all data correctly.
  6. Process payment – Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express (credit or debit card). A Visa gift card will also work.
  7. You may print your Confirmation page at this time. It will also be emailed to you immediately after the registration is completed.

Each participant will pay the USA Hockey fee of $30 if age 7 or older. The USA Hockey fee is waived for ages 6 and younger. There will also be an additional $10 MN Affilitation fee.  Regardless of birth year the registration must still be completed to get the confirmation number.

Once you have registered all players with USA Hockey, and have your confirmation pages, please return to this site to log in and register with WYHA.

RETURNING Players: 
Register with WYHA at a discounted rate-- $50 off per player--  from Aug 1st thru Aug 31st.  Standard rates apply as of Sept 1.  See the 2011-2012 Fee Schedule for this years' registration fees.  ONLINE Registrations ONLY.

NEW PLAYER Registration options:  
New Players can register at a discounted rate from Aug 1st thru Sept 30th via online, OR

Looking for a more personable process?  Join us for WYHA's Walk-In Registration Event held at the Plymouth Ice Center, Sept 10th, 9am -12pm.  WYHA representatives will be on hand to guide you through the registration process.
Standard rates will apply for New Players after Sept 30th. (NOTE: Mini-mites pricing already reflects the ALWAYS discounted rate.)
ALL PLAYERS: A photocopy of the players state/county issued birth certificate must be submitted for the registration to be completed. These copies can be submitted to the Registration Box within Rink A at Plymouth Ice Center.
 
Play-Up Requests, school attendence verification, and Scholarship appliations MUST be submitted to the locked 'REGISTRATION' mailbox within rink A of the Plymouth Ice Center prior to registering with WYHA-- your registration will not be finalized until ALL forms are received.
Multi-Player Discounts:  WYHA does have discounts available for families registering 3 or more players.  Please note that ALL player registrations must be completed and paid AT THE SAME SESSION for the discount to apply. (Mini mites and HS Tryout levels are NOT eligible for the discount.)
Refunds: 
TRAVEL: Refund requests must be in writing to WYHA Registration Team BEFORE before team placement, NO refund is available after team placement.
MITES: Refund requests must be in writing to WYHA Registration Team and received prior to Dec. 1, and will be processed after Dec. 1.  
ALL LEVELS are subject to deductions of: pro-rated icetime, a $50 administrative fee, and any other applicable fees (eg, tryout fees, losing the multi-player discount, etc) from each request.  Fees paid to USA/MN Hockey are non-refundable.  All requests are processed after Dec 1.
