    Open Youth Hockey at PIC

    The Plymouth Ice Center will be offering youth open hockey sessions this summer on Monday’s and Wednesday’s June-July.  PIC will offer a session for ages 4-11 year old’s, and 12-17 year old’s. Parents/guardians will be allowed on the ice for the 4-11 year old’s but the parents/guardians also must where helmet/skates/and hockey gloves and pay the fee.

    Fee:  $5/skater

    Rules:

    • Full Gear is required for all youth open hockey players.
    • Respect all skaters on the ice and their abilities.
    • No bullying or abusive language.  The is a zero tolerance policy.
    • No body checking or any act to cause harm to any other participant on the ice surface.

    All participants and their parent/guardian must come sign in, pay the fee, and sign the waiver to participate.  Below is the schedule.  It will also be posted on the PIC website.

    Welcome to the 2022 Summer Hockey Clinic Registration with WYHA.

    The Summer Clinics offer a comprehensive and systematic plan for the development of the participant’s technical, tactical, and physical hockey skills.  All Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, Girls U8/U10 and Girls U12/U15 sessions are 2 x per week for nine weeks, and the Boys High School / Sophomore STP and Girls High School program are at 3 x per week for six weeks.  There are no on-ice sessions the week of July 3 – July 9. All sessions are at Plymouth Ice Center.  

    Wayzata High School Boys Head Coach Pat O’Leary, Wayzata High School Girls Head Coach Taylor Williamson, and their respective coaching staff teach all sessions. 

    SUMMER CLINICS DETAILS:  Register by March 31, 2021 to take advantage of early registration discounts (see level for discount).

For the 2021-22 season, we will be following any and all guidelines put in place by the State of Minnesota, by our practice and game facilities, and by Minnesota Hockey. It is your responsibility as a WYHA member and/or player to be respectful of your fellow players, coaches, and volunteers.

    WYHA Policy

    WYHA promotes, sponsors, provide facilities for and organizes a program dedicated to recreation, sportsmanship, and excellence in ice hockey for youth in School District 284. WYHA provides a competitive ice hockey program, both recreational and developmental, designed to meet the needs of all youth ages 5-19. Each participant has the opportunity to compete at the level best suited to aid in the development of his or her individual physical and mental qualities.
