WYHA 2026-2027 LRM and TM Identification

This registration is ONLY for individuals who wish to volunteer as a Team Manager (TM) or Locker Room Monitor (LRM) for a WYHA team during the 2026–2027 hockey season.

Please read the following information carefully before completing this registration.

Who Should Complete This Registration?

This registration is for two specific volunteer roles:

Team Manager (TM): A volunteer who helps manage team communications, schedules, administrative tasks, and other team-related responsibilities.

Locker Room Monitor (LRM): A volunteer responsible for supervising the locker room and ensuring WYHA and USA Hockey locker room policies are followed.

IMPORTANT: Your player must be assigned to a team and officially rostered BEFORE you complete this registration. If your player has not yet been rostered, please wait to register.

What Does This Registration Do?

This registration tells WYHA which team you would like to volunteer with and whether you intend to serve as a Team Manager or Locker Room Monitor.

Completing this registration does NOT automatically add you to an official USA Hockey (USAH) roster or authorize you to begin volunteering.

Requirements to Serve as a TM or LRM

Before you can officially serve as a Team Manager or Locker Room Monitor, you must:

Complete SafeSport Training. Your SafeSport certification must be current.

Complete Background Screening. Your USA Hockey background screening must be current and approved.

Complete This Registration. Select your player's assigned team and identify your volunteer role.

Be Added to the Official USA Hockey Roster. WYHA must officially roster you before you can begin serving in your role.

IMPORTANT: Completing SafeSport, background screening, and this registration does NOT mean you are officially rostered. You must be added to the official USA Hockey roster before participating in your volunteer role.

This report is updated frequently, but NOT automatically. Please check the date on the report to see when it was last updated. Recently completed requirements may take time to appear.

Important Locker Room Rules

Only individuals officially listed on the USA Hockey team roster as Locker Room Monitors are permitted to serve as Locker Room Monitors.

Please remember:

Registering as an LRM does NOT authorize you to monitor a locker room.

Completing SafeSport and background screening does NOT automatically authorize you to monitor a locker room.

You MUST be officially rostered with USA Hockey before serving as a Locker Room Monitor.

These requirements are in place to protect our players and ensure compliance with USA Hockey policies.

When Will I Be Added to the Roster?

WYHA will begin adding eligible Team Managers and Locker Room Monitors as team rosters are finalized and volunteer requirements are verified.

Please be patient! Each volunteer must be added to the USA Hockey roster individually. This is a manual process and takes time, especially at the beginning of the season.

Submitting multiple registrations will not speed up the process.

Important Reminders Before Registering

Before submitting this registration, please make sure your player has already been assigned to a team and officially rostered. You must know your player's assigned team and select that team when registering.

Please make sure you understand whether you are registering as a Team Manager (TM) or Locker Room Monitor (LRM) and select the appropriate role.

All Team Managers and Locker Room Monitors must have current SafeSport training and an approved background screening before they can be officially rostered. It is your responsibility to complete these requirements and check their status.

Most importantly, completing this registration does NOT mean you have been added to the official USA Hockey roster. Registration, SafeSport training, and background screening are all required steps, but you are not authorized to serve as a Team Manager or Locker Room Monitor until WYHA has officially added you to your team's USA Hockey roster.

Please do not begin serving in either role until you have been officially rostered.
