Bantam B2 Navy

3rd Place in Districts

The Bantam B2 Navy team wrapped up an outstanding district season, finishing second in regular-season play and earning an impressive third-place finish in the district tournament.

Congratulations to the entire team on a fantastic season filled with hard work, determination, and teamwork! Great job, everyone!

Super Series Champions

Bantam B2 Yellow takes home the Super Series Championship win after an intense, nail-biting final game against OMG Orange! This capped an amazing season of hard work and growth, as they learned to trust each other, playing as a team from beginning to end with determination and grit. Congratulations Boys!

Champions of the Walker Tournament!

In the frigid temperatures of Walker, Minnesota Bantam B2 Yellow turned up the temp on their opponents beating rivals OMG Orange, Hibbing Chism and Waconia to take home the Championship. They came together with an energy and synergy that carried them throughout the weekend in four extremely competitive games.

2nd Place in the Bob O'Conner Tournament

Congratulations to Bantam B2 Yellow for an impressive 2nd place finish against Edina White in the Bob O' Connor tournament!!

Bantam C Grey captures the Bronze with dramatic fashion!

An unforgettable weekend in Rochester, where Grey left it all on the ice after two long-winded battles and TWO heart-stopping shootouts. After a tough loss that could've shaken anyone, these boys dug deep, showed grit, and bounced right back to finish on the podium in true Trojan style. Although the kids were cool under pressure, parents on the other hand scheduled cardiology appointments upon returning.

Champions of the Prior Lake Laker Shootout

The Bantam B2 Navy team went a perfect 5–0 to capture the championship at the Prior Lake Laker Shootout. In pool play, the boys made a statement by knocking off District 6’s top two teams—handing Prior Lake its first loss of the season and defeating a Minnetonka squad that had just one loss all year. The momentum carried into bracket play, where the team battled through two intense games to seal the title. An incredible run—congratulations, boys!

Off the Rails Tournament Champions

The Bantam B2 Navy team made it a Trifecta for Duluth area tournaments by winning the Proctor “Off the Rails” Tournament Championship. It was a dominating performance with excellent goaltending, puck movement, and defense resulting in going undefeated for the weekend and outscoring their opponents 22-4.

Bantam B1 Gold

2nd Place in the Sioux Falls Challenger Series Tournament

Bantam B1 Gold had a fantastic showing at the Sioux Falls Challenger Series Tournament narrowly losing in the last seconds to New Prague’s A team in the championship. Congratulations to the boys for finishing second!

Bantam C Grey

3rd place in the Somerset Tourney

This team battled hard after losing a player in game 1 to an injury, and boy did they step up! Scoring a total of 15 goals and only giving up 2 after that injury,  they took on fierce opponents losing to the Roseville Raiders before beating the Boji Mammoth for 3rd place. Congrats boys!

Bantam C Ice

Lake Superior Classic Champions

Bantam C Ice went 4-0 overall, defeating Inver Grove Heights, Farmington, Forest Lake, and they beat Shakopee 4-3 in the 'chip! It was a Wayzata weekend in Duluth with both teams winning the championship and sharing a hotel together to boot!

Bantam C Grey - 3rd Place!

Bantam C Grey rode valiantly out of the Knights Joust Tournament in Saint Michael, clad in well-earned bronze armor. After a hard-fought opening duel, Grey lowered their lances and charged through the next three battles, out-jousting their foes at every turn. They outscored their rivals 18–5, claiming their place on the podium and bringing home the hardware. Congratulations, Grey!

Bantam B2 Navy

2nd Place in the Wayzata Sniper Classic!

Bantam B2 Navy fell to Minnetonka 5-4 in the B2 Championship. This was their only loss in the tournament. The team came from behind twice, scoring with one tenth of a second to tie Edina, Defeated Waconia and Forest Lake to meet Minnetonka in the championship. The team battled every minute and the resilience and hunger were great to watch. Congrats to B2 Navy for a successful and hard-fought tournament.

Battle at the Baron Tournament Champions!

Congratulations to our Bantam B2 Yellow team as they dominated at the tournament in Marshall, MN. These boys showed up and played some solid hockey, outscoring their opponents 35-3, with two shutout games, capping it off with an impressive 7-1 victory over White Bear Lake to take home the hardware.

Wayzata Sniper Classic Champions!

Over the course of the weekend, the team delivered an exceptional performance—scoring 39 goals on 183 shots, while allowing only 6 goals on 52 shots against.

Their dominant play included two shutouts, showcasing outstanding effort on both ends of the ice. Well done, team!

Peewee C Grey

2nd Place at the Prairie Madness

Peewee C Grey closed out their last regular season tournament this past weekend with a hard-earned second place finish in Prairie Madness. Beating Eden Prairie 7-4 in the first game, Wayzata topped their pool with a five-point differential. The championship match-up against the Fargo Angels was back and forth, ending with an empty net goal for a final score of 4-2. That team allowed two goals during the previous three tournament games combined.

It was truly a full team effort - great work, PWC Grey!

Peewee C Ice

Champions of the Bob O’Connor Tournament Edina

The team clinched victory against 3 strong opponents and two of the boys celebrated hat-tricks, taking home the trophy at the Edina O’Connor Tournament. Congratulations boys!

Peewee B1 Blue

1st Place in the Owatonna O-Town Showdown

Wayzata Peewee B1 Blue took 1st place in the Owatonna O-Town Showdown tournament this weekend. The team posted a 4-0 record while outscoring their opponents 33-6. 

Peewee C Ice

Lake Superior Classic Champions

Peewee C Ice went 3-0-1 overall winning against Mahtomedi, Rogers and tying Maple Grove Crimson in Pool play, then played Mahtomedi again the championship and won 6-2! It was a great weekend by all and the boys played fantastic, earning their THIRD tournament championship in as many tournaments!

2nd Place at the Grand Forks Top Gun Challenge

Wayzata Peewee B1 Blue finished 4-1 to take home 2nd place in the Grand Forks Top Gun Challenge tournament. The team played a pair of thrilling games on Sunday with a last second save to hold on to a 4-3 win in the semifinal against Sioux Falls before falling 5-4 to undefeated West Fargo Black in the championship.

2nd Place at the Raider Classic

Peewee C Silver took second place in Hudson, Wisconsin at the Raider classic.

Peewee B1 Blue

3rd Place at the Mankato Meltdown

Peewee B1 Blue went 4-1 at the Mankato Meltdown tournament to take home 3rd place. They capped off the weekend with a come from behind win over Fremont (Omaha) Nebraska battling back from a 4-1 deficit with 4 unanswered goals, including 3 in the 3rd period, to win 5-4.

Wayzata Sniper Classic Champions!

Peewee C Ice rolled to a 4–0 weekend, sinking the Tonka Skippers 6–3 in the final to bring home the hardware.

The team came out strong at their first tournament of the season with wins against Lakeville North, Sioux Falls, Cottage Grove, and Minnetonka in a thrilling victory for the trophy!

The boys were buzzing and played solid, disciplined hockey from the first puck drop to the last buzzer.

Delano Pool Party Tournament Champions!

Peewee C Ice went 4-0 and walked away Champions of the Delano Pool Party Tournament.

Peewee C Grey

The Peewee C Grey team took time this Thanksgiving week for a service project to support the Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners organization.

They prepared items such as hygiene products and dog treats for families who have service animals. Their players prepped the supplies and the team families donated the items.

Squirt B1 White

2nd in Districts

Squirt B1 White takes 2nd place in Districts! This #2 seeded team played in four Championship games this season earning 1st place at their home tournament at PIC & three 2nd place tournament finishes. Their overall record 14-4-0. Congratulations Squirt B1 White!

Squirt B1 White did a service project at “Feed My Starving Children” and made enough meals to feed 46 kids one meal a day for a year! Great job boys, way to give back!

3rd in Districts

Such an intense game for 3rd place in the D3 tournament! Our Squirt C team battled it out against Minneapolis Squirt Black, and the boys played their hearts out on the ice. Every shift was a hustle, and the energy was electric from start to finish. So proud of their effort and sportsmanship throughout the entire tournament. They showed incredible grit and determination and came out with a 3rd place finish. Congratulations team Ice!!

Consolation Champs at the Fargo Squirt International

Squirt A Blue goes 5–1 at the Fargo Squirt International Tournament to claim the Consolation Championship. Battling in the top tier of a 64-team field, this group played fast, hard, and for each other all weekend. Incredible compete level and a true team effort from start to finish.

2nd at the Squirt Extravaganza

Squirt B1 White took home 2nd at the SQUIRT EXTRAVAGANZA Tournament in Maple Grove. Way to work hard boys!

Champions of the Battle at the Baron!

What a perfect weekend for our Squirt A Blue team at the Battle at the Baron Tournament in Marshall, MN!

The boys went a flawless 4–0, showcasing hard work and teamwork all weekend long to bring home the tournament championship. Every player contributed, and the effort on and off the ice truly showed.

Squirt B1 Gold

1st Place in the Mankato Meltdown

Squirt B1 Gold battled in Mankato this weekend and took home 1st at the Mankato Meltdown tournament. Played 5 games to bring home the hardware, one of which included OT and a shootout! Way to go boys!!!

1st Place in the Duluth Skate on the Edge Tournament

Squirt B2 Navy bringing home some more hardware, this time GOLD! A perfect 5-0 this past weekend! 5 games, 3 shutouts, and only 3 goals allowed. An outstanding all around team effort - these boys left it all on the ice. Proud of this team!

Squirt B2 Royal were named champions of the Bloomington Squirt Shootout Tournament after a hard fought battle with Edina!

2nd Place in the Wayzata Freeze

Congrats to Squirt B2 Navy for a great 2nd place finish! After beating STMA, Champlin Park, and Roger’s a combined score of 16-8 in pool play, they lost a tough battle against Shakopee to finish 2nd in the Wayzata Freeze tourney. Way to go boys!

2nd Place at the Bloomington Squirt Shootout

Squirt C Grey battled hard and skated their way to a second-place finish at the Bloomington 2026 Squirt Shootout! The team played together, showed great effort, and left it all on the ice. Great job, Squirt C Grey!

Squirt B1 Blue took home second place at the Edina Cornerstone Tournament this past weekend. Congrats boys!

2nd Place in the Alexandria Big Ole Tournament

Huge shoutout to the Wayzata 15U A Trojans for their impressive second-place finish in the Alexandria Big Ole Tournament! These girls battled hard, facing Edina once again, for the third time in a championship game…and pushing it to overtime (for the third straight matchup). This time, they didn’t quite secure that final goal, but what a display of grit and talent! What a team, so proud of them!

Champions of Danglefest!

Huge congratulations to the Wayzata U15A Trojans on claiming the Danglefest Championship title! What an incredible run—scoring 17 goals while only allowing 5 against across 5 intense games. Shoutout to Ellie for her stellar performance with two shutout victories, including a dominant shutout against Minnetonka and a 3-0 semifinal win over top-ranked Rogers/Blaine. The championship game was an absolute nail-biter: after a 1-1 tie through regulation and two overtime periods, the Trojans sealed the deal in a thrilling sudden-death shootout to take down Edina 3-2. So proud of this team—way to bring home the hardware! 

15U A

Champions of the MVI Super Rink Spectacular

Huge shoutout to the Wayzata U15A Trojans for claiming the MVI Super Rink Spectacular New Year’s Tournament championship title! These girls are on fire, securing back-to-back championships—starting with Danglefest just over a week ago, both were epic championship showdowns vs Edina. This time around, they clinched a hard-fought 4-3 overtime win, and there’s nothing better than beating Edina twice, especially for the chip! Way to go, girls—keep that momentum rolling!

12U B2 Royal - 2nd place at the Super Championship!

On October 8th, 2025, 12U B2 Royal set a goal of making it to the Super Championship Series. The state championship for 12U B2.

151 days of hard work, film, playing teams a level above, and 55 games is what it took to prepare and accomplish this goal! They fought hard all the way to the championship game, ultimately coming away with a second place finish.

What a journey this season was for all! Congratulations on an amazing season girls!

Congratulations to 12U B2 Royal on taking 1st place at the Cupid Classic Tournament!

The girls battled hard beating Orono and Bloomington Jefferson, tying the Spartacats, and defeating OMG in the championship game. Great work girls!

Consolation Champs in Stillwater

The 12U B2 Navy team took the Consolation Championship with a decisive 6-2 victory over Stillwater. They played tough teams all weekend and came out with a great finish. Way to go, girls!

12U B1 Blue

Champions in Eveleth!!

What a weekend to remember at the Wolverine Classic in Eveleth, Minnesota! Playing in the historic Hippodrome rink, the 12U B1 Blue team was on fire, rolling through the tournament with big wins over West St. Paul (2–0), Chaska Chanhassen (2–1), and Cottage Grove (6–1) before capping it all off with an awesome 5–1 victory over Crookston in the championship game—and earning some well-deserved championship rings along the way.

2nd Place at the Blaine Bengal Classic!

Wayzata 12U B1 Blue wrapped up a great weekend by going 3–1 and taking home the 2nd place trophy 12. The team picked up a huge win over the #1 rated team in the state (5–3) and followed it up with strong performances against Roseville Mahtomedi (5–1) and Central MN Riverblades White (12–0). The run ended with a hard-fought championship loss to Central MN Riverblades Red, but the team showed compete, depth, and consistency all weekend!

Champions of the Breezy Point Ice Fest!

The 12UA girls are Champions again. They won the Breezy Point Ice Fest tournament. They outscored their opponents 12-3 over the 4 games…with two shut outs. These victories improve their overall record to 31-2-5 on the season. Way to go girls!

Champions of the Battle at the Baron

12U A took the Championship at the Battle at the Baron tournament in Marshall, MN. They went undefeated over the weekend to bring their overall record to 20-1-2. Way to go girls!

12U B1 Blue 

2nd Place at the Colder by the Lake Tournament

12U B1 Blue ventured north to the Colder by the Lake Tournament in Superior, Wisconsin, where the temps were well below freezing and the wind chill was even less forgiving — but the offense stayed red hot. Blue kicked things off by roasting Moose Lake 8–2, then turned the thermostat way up with an 11–0 freeze-out of Superior. A chilly clash with International Falls ended in a hard-fought 2-2 tie before Blue went the distance grinding through double overtime and a shootout before a razor-thin loss to Orono.

12U B1 Blue

3rd Place in the Cake Eater Classic!

B1 Blue Skated out of the Cake Eater Classic with bronze dangling around their necks. They caged the WBL Bears 7 - 2, battled the Hornets in a tight matchup to get to the 3rd place game. Blue then left the SPL Lakers sinking, sealing the bronze with a commanding 6 - 2 victory.

10U B2 Yellow

District Champions

It was a Wayzata (Navy) vs. Wayzata (Yellow) battle for the 10U B2 District Championship! Both teams worked so hard for the incredible accomplishment of both earning the right to represent Wayzata at the Championship!

It was a hard fought game but the #3 seeded 10U B2 Yellow team pulled off the 2-1 upset to win over the #1 seeded 10U B2 Navy team who were undefeated in district play up until that point.

The girls from both teams are all friends and were super supportive of one another post game, which made the coaches incredibly proud! Congratulations to both teams!

Wayzata 10U B1 Gold played tough competition and took 3rd place at the Danglefest tournament! Way to go girls!

3rd place at the Maple Grove Cabin Fever Tournament

10U A team went 3–1 this weekend, earning a third‑place finish at the Maple Grove Cabin Fever Tournament. The girls played with tremendous effort, resilience, and hustle throughout the event. 

10U B1 Gold

3rd Place at the Battle at the Baron

Wayzata 10U B1 Gold played incredible at the Battle at the Baron in Marshall, Minnesota! They never lost a game - outscoring their opponents 28 to 6. They narrowly missed out on the championship game from an extra attacker goal resulting in a tied game in pool play. They played as a team and showed great sportsmanship. Congrats to 10U B1 Gold on a 7-0 win to take 3rd place!

Moorhead 218 Champions

The Wayzata 10U A girls dominated the Moorhead Skate 218 tournament this weekend, going undefeated and outscoring their opponents 22–6. The team delivered standout performances against strong programs from Centennial, Warroad, Moorhead, and Fargo, showcasing relentless effort, teamwork, and grit from start to finish.

Congratulations to the players and coaches on an incredible run and well-earned championship at the Showdown in Potato Town Tournament.

10U A

3rd Place at the Edina Cake Eater

The Wayzata 10U A girls showed heart at the Edina “Cake Eater” Tournament, battling in a tight 3–2 game against Edina and responding with a strong 2–0 win over Osseo–Maple Grove to earn a 3rd place finish.

8U Four Nations Face-Off

A fun, competitive day where the 8U girls mixed up teams in-house and represented USA, Canada, Finland, and Sweden.
